Originally from Huntsville, Alabama, Mike has served as Associate Pastor of Music and Adult Bible Studies at GMBC since 2009. He holds a B.A. in Christian Ministry and Biblical Studies from Leavell College of the New Baptist Theological Seminary.

Mike has been married to Tonya since 1989 and has three adult children.
